Response to Inquiries

Posted by SecPress in Tancredo's Take | Comments (6) | Permalink

There have been alot of questions regarding Tancredo's Take, and I wanted to make sure I address them.  As many of you are aware, we are going through a transition period with the Blog.  I am responsibile for a number of things with the campaign and unfortunately,  my schedule does not allow me to travel with the Congressman, with the exception of events like the debates and the Iowa Straw Poll.

However, your questions will be answered.  I encourage you to continue posting questions under Tancredo's Take, and I will get a response for you.  Please bear with me as it may take a bit longer than usual as we go through this transition period.

Thank you for your dedication!

Tancredo's Take Round 3 - Ask Here

Posted by Mike Tate in Tancredo's Take | Comments (14) | Permalink

Let's do this again. I'll leave this up for a few weeks while some great questions pile up. For those of you new to this, here's how it works: ask a question (anything, really!) -- preferably, via video -- and then the Tanc will answer via YouTube.

edit: i'm featuring this post now at the top of the page. for those new to reading the blog, tancredo's take is where YOU ask questions and Tancredo responds.

Tancredo's Take Round 2 - Question 3

Posted by Mike Tate in Tancredo's Take | Comments (5) | Permalink

It's on ANWR.

transcript:

Yeah, I believe that we should drill in ANWR. I believe that we should drill off of the coast. I believe that we should do everything possible to increase the supply of petroleum products to the United States that will help us reduce our reliance on foreign countries. Especially, foreign countries that are very hostile to the United States. Simultaneously, by the way, I think we should be working very hard to reduce our use of petroleum products because eventually it's what we are going to have to do -- we can't drill our way out of this problem -- it's true. But we also cannot repeal the law of supply and demand. The gas prices are where they are today because supplies are down, demand is high. We have to figure out a way to deal with one or more sides of that issue. So, I want to increase supply and reduce demand by encouraging a variety of alternatives, including, of course, the use of alternative fuel vehicles. But, yes, I would definitely drill in ANWR.

Do you have a trade policy that would better benefit the United States and American workers? Or do you currently support NAFTA, CFTA, CAFTA?
