DAILY OUTRAGE

Posted by SecPress in On The Blogs | Comments (31) | Permalink

I have come to the conclusion that many people do not truly understand what a threat illegal immigrants can be to the United States.  That is why I am going to try and inform as many people as possible through a new link on our website called "DAILY OUTRAGE".  You may notice the news section on our front page there are two links:

10-3 DAILY OUTRAGE: Illegal immigrant blames his robbery on new employer sanctions law

and

10-4 DAILY OUTRAGE: Immigrant who stabbed man escapes deportation

These are just small examples of what is happening everyday in this country.  In the spirit of fairness and to prove I am not biased, do a simple news search for "illegal immigrant" and see what you find.  I bet that there are more articles like the two above than there are about illegal aliens getting 4.0 averages or being at the head of their class.

Don't take my word for it, click here to do a search!

Tancredo "continues to gain some stature and momentum"

Posted by Mike Tate in On The Blogs | Comments (0) | Permalink

Don McDowell attended the Ames office BBQ and blogged about it on Cyclone Conservatives:

The crowd was well over 75 and possibly inching toward a 100 people and because the office is just a 'suite', it was very packed and people even had to stand outside because the crowd was very big. There were state central committee members there, elected officials, former candidates for office, and plenty of familiar faces.

Campaigning at Full Throttle

Posted by Mike Tate in On The Blogs | Comments (6) | Permalink

The media is saying, due to the new Save America component of this campaign, that Tancredo is scaling back.

Like this Redstate post.

Yes, Congressman Tancredo is planning on going around the country to stop this amnesty bill. However, Unlike McCain and Giuliani said a few days ago about abandoning Iowa -- we are not. Tancredo is still campaigning in Iowa full time. In fact, I'm with him in Iowa for the next 4 days.

Rolling with the Tanc

Cyclone Conservatives loves the video of Congressman Tancredo driving while talking about the new immigration legislation. I decided to film the video in the car because we were short on time.

The GOP Base and Immigration

Posted by Mike Tate in On The Blogs | Comments (2) | Permalink

Here's my favorite part on a decent immigration article in today's Washington Times:

"This immigration issue should be of serious concern to all members of Congress with an interest in being re-elected," said Curly Haugland, a North Dakota rancher and Republican national committeeman. "So far, the only member of Congress that has expressed an opinion on the matter that I agree with is that of House Minority Leader John Boehner, who called the bill 'a piece of [expletive].' "

Tancredo could "put together a breakaway campaign"

Posted by Mike Tate in On The Blogs | Comments (3) | Permalink

Commentary magazine blogged this:

Though immigration is unlikely to boost a second-tier candidate into the top rank, it might provide the opportunity for an outsider like Tom Tancredo (who has already murmured about running) to put together a breakaway campaign based on his opposition to both abortion and illegal immigration.

Outside the Ring

Posted by Mike Tate in On The Blogs | Comments (0) | Permalink

The New York Sun's Latest Politics blog highlights a few outside the ring punches. If McCain's going down because of this immigration proposal, then he's going to take down Romney too:

"Maybe I should wait a couple weeks and see if it changes," Mr. McCain said of Mr. Romney's position on immigration this week. "Maybe he can get out his small varmint gun and drive those Guatemalans off his yard."

He also slammed Fred Thompson:

On Fred Thompson's attacks on the immigration compromise, Mr. McCain said: "He had a different position not that long ago." But, as he's not in the race yet, Mr. McCain said, maybe "Fred" will have time to sort that all out.
