Uhh...no?
Illegal immigration flares as hot as a scorching Iowa summer day.
The issue -- I mean, the ISSUES ASSOCIATED with illegal immigration, such as its hit on education, healthcare, and culture, have made Americans furious. Why else would Romney come out with a radio and television ad right before the straw poll on immigration? And then attack on that issue:
In one of the strongest conflicts yet between Republican presidential front-runners, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney attacked rival Rudy Giuliani Wednesday, implying that Giuliani supported illegal immigration when he was mayor of New York.
Because immigration is hot. And so is Tancredo.
No photos from today's events most likely. I've been working on some straw poll stuff: I didn't hit the sack until 4 AM and then woke up after a few hours to finish up some multimedia for the introduction to Tancredo's straw poll speech. I then ran it over to the studio in West Des Moines. If anyone took any pictures of today's town hall meetings, send 'em over! I'll post 'em and give credit.
After that interview with the Lake View Resort, Tancredo spoke on the issues in Carroll at the Swan Lake Park

Everywhere we go, Tancredo meets crowds full of people who are Democrats, full of people who are still 'shopping for a candidate,' full of people who are just now hearing about him. And these crowds all give huge applause when Tancredo discusses his immigration platform. The momentum is there and we won't let the media stop it.

This morning at Brookside Park in Ames, Tancredo talked about his support of school choice for America's children: whether the schooling is public, private, or home. The federal government has no role -- and shouldn't, either -- in education, says Tancredo.

Tancredo spoke at the Cerro Gordo County Republican Fundraiser in Clear Lake. He had a chance for one audience question and it was on the two border agents -- Ramos and Compean.

Standing ovation as Tancredo told the crowd how it is with issues such as education and immigration. He faced question after question on immigration on what he would do to solve the open borders and illegal immigration crisis. Immigration is just this hot.

Just had breakfast at the Hi-Way 20 Cafe in Parkersburg. After Tancredo finished talking and went to the Q & A session, everyone asked about the borders agents Ramos and Compean. It was the most heated topic in the Q & A session because of the frustration that the two are behind bars.

Flyin' back to D.C. from Des Moines. So, expect no new posts until later tonight -- unless during my connection I have time.

Watch the whole thing.

Look at this, front fold, front page:
