This is a very unique event, a candidate from the opposing party commenting on the Democratic debate!

Unique indeed! I wonder if I will be able to watch this and the CSPAN-2 EVENT at the same time? I hope he can convert a bunch of Democrats during their debate.

This is a first! Good job in scheduling this one! I will be online.....hope everyone else is, too, in support of Tanc.

I also like how you call Tanc, the "Tanc", Alan. Everyone else is beginning to catch on to this, as well.

I'm a proud soldier of Tanc's army against amnesty......

someone needs to tell Hector that anyone that lives in the state of Iowa knows that Muscatine,Denison, Storm Lake, Perry, Marshalltown are havens for illegal immigrants.
I am not racist by any means, I just want our government to enforce the current immigration laws. Don't think the illegal immigrants can vote, can they? Of course, if Obama is elected, the illegal immigrants will then become legal when the new shamnesty laws are voted on, approved and enforced.

This is exactly why I support Tanc for President 08.

Obama has appeal to Latinos

This year, the most vigorous outreach to Latinos I have witnessed is that of Sen. Barack Obama. He has a full-time staff person, Joan Kato, devoted to building a Latino network of supporters. Sen. Obama's Latino advisory committee includes powerful voices in the Latino community in Iowa.

Although the total proportion of Latino voters in Iowa is still small, one cannot evade the fact that Latinos now outnumber farmers in Iowa. No one will be able to ignore the Latino vote in this election cycle, especially in key states, such as California, Florida, and Texas.

In the present election cycle, Latinos in Iowa may make a difference in a close race in some areas with high Latino populations (e.g., Muscatine, Denison, Storm Lake, Perry, Marshalltown) if voting registration drives are successful.

Although the presidential forum focused a lot on immigration issues, I support Sen. Obama because, in addition to having sensible plans on many Latino issues, he was against the Iraq War from the start.

Opposition to the Iraq war showed me that Sen. Obama's wisdom and courage was more potent than all of the experience of those seasoned politicians who voted for this costly and unwise human disaster that disproportionately affects the lives of the poor and the marginalized in this country and in Iraq.

Like many Latinos, I am interested in a candidate who makes an effort to reach out to Latinos. But that is just the first step. At the end of the race, I will vote for the candidate who addresses all the major aspects of my life as an American and as a citizen of an increasingly dangerous world. Sen. Obama is that candidate.

*************I AM SORRY TO PUT THIS ON EACH POST BUT I THINK THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND EVERY TANCREDO SUPPORTER NEEDS TO READ THIS!**********

Hey Tancredo Supporters! I was on MYSPACE last night and I noticed a new "Bulletin" from Tom (the guy who runs MYSPACE) that said, "myspace presidential dialogues on MTV." This is what it said when I opened it....

"Hey everyone! We've partnerd with MTV to bring you the MySpace Presidential Dialogues. The Dialogues are LIVE, interactive events shown both on myspace at myspace.com/election2008 and on MTV.

Over the next several months we will be hosting an event for each Presidential candidate. Here's your chance to ask them the questions on your mind via MySpaceIM or by going to one of the live events held on college campuses around the country!

The first event features senator and presidential hopeful John Edwards. It's This Thursday at noon EST. Add the profile as your friend, and watch the teaser video here! Please participate in this historic event!"

If you check out this site http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=189042058 you will see Tom Tancredo will not be making an appearance on this. Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul and Sam Brownback will though. If you read carefully, in the second paragraph it says, "we will be hosting an event for EACH presidential candidate." We need to demand that Tom Tancredo gets his own dialogue. MTV and MYSPACE are two of the best ways to get Tom's name out to the young American people. Every twenty something and under go to MTV or MYSPACE daily. Young people do not know who Tom is. The majority doesn't even know he is running. They listen to what MTV says and that is where they get their news and views on politics. Let's get Tom on this show to show the youth of America a true leader! I am a 23 year old so I am proof that this is true. If Tom is not on this show, I think that is a huge blow to his campagin.

Alan, can you please confirm that Tom was not invited to be a part of this MTV appearance ASAP so we can get the pressure on MTV and MYSPACE right from the beginning. This is the first time I have heard about these events.

I hope all of us try as hard as we can to get Tom an episode. Please respond about this comment if you think it is a good idea! We need to start networking NOW to get Tom his own MTV/MYSPACE Presidential Dialogue! Thanks everyone! GO TOM GO!!!!

anyone who isn't, should frequent and blog in support of Tanc on Firesociety, link is

Alan, Please ask Congressman Tancredo to return to the Sprengelmeyer blog site and post responses to: 1) T.J. regarding locking out illegal immigrants, and, 2) M.E. on the general question regarding the Congressman's take on the debate. I think he needs to do this in order to complete his part of participating in the forum. I know he is busy, and I appreciate his efforts in running for President, but again, please ask if he could return to answer those two questions. Thanks!

Alan, could you elaborate on Tanc's reaction to the live web chat last night? I'm sure all the Tanc supporters would like to know how he felt about the whole experience.
Thank you. Very worthwhile!

Chicagosupporter: YES! This family of five Tancredo supporters thinks your idea is terrific. I would hope all Tancredo supporters would endorse any type of networking in order that we may make people aware of Tom Tancredo and his campaign message. Alan, please try to schedule Tom on MTV's Presidential dialogue! Great idea Chicagosupporter!
I happened to flip to C-Span last night and caught Tom speaking in New Hampshire. I only caught his final question, but I was able to listen to him interact with the public after he spoke. That one-on-one time is crucial for Tanc because that is when you get a glimpse/sense of Tom's genuine character!!!

I'd like to know how there are so many Hispanic voters now? They can't possibly all be legal. We all know that legal immigration has limits on how many are allowed from each country. So how is it that suddenly there is such a large Hispanic voting population? It smells rotten to me.
